The afternoon when this rainbow showed up last week it was at a time that I wall feeling extra sad thinking of the passing of Snowball my fur-baby kitty (4.30.25). I was in my bedroom on my bed with my bible in my lap trying to be encouraged. But lo and behold, I looked out the window and what did I see? A big rainbow in the back yard. Oh, if it could enclose the area in the back yard where Snowball was buried that would be an added blessing, and it was! It was like a sign from God that said, "I am with you, my child. Be encouraged." I was like a soothing balm to my soul and received peace as I watched it until it was gone. Mark said it was even a double rainbow, and I didn't realize it at first. Yes, it was! And oh, how the colors were true and strong. I felt the Lord's presence just when I needed it. And when I was done watching it, I went to the Psalms starting with the Psalm of the day and going by 30's, thereafter. Start at 12 for the 12th of May, then to 30 more to 42, and another 30 to 72, and so on. But I stopped at Ch. 42, because it spoke to me right where I was at. I felt comfort even though tears anew because of Gratitude for His great Love to be there for me, just when I needed it. Vs. 11 of ch. 42 sums it up. "Why art thou cast down, O my soul? And why art thou disquieted within me? Hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise Him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God".
Praise His Holy Name.
